Youth gardening represents a tremendous opportunity for children to understand and explore the natural world, as well as learn first hand the benefits of growing, harvesting, and eating healthy foods. Gardening captures kids’ interest, teaches them nurturing skills, gives them a sense of pride in their accomplishments and provides a way to improve and give back to the community. Members will learn how to create, grow and maintain an organic vegetable garden. There are many activities planned for the garden.
The children will have the opportunity to purchase Mother’s Day Flowers at the Mother's Day Plant Sale! Please see the attached schedule for times and dates.
